Tom Wilson | DirectorTom has extensive experience working in the wool industry in New Zealand and overseas. He has worked as a shearer, a trainer, and a manager of training businesses, as well as having owned and run a Recruitment and Labour Hire company in Western Australia. Tom has been involved in qualification development and qualification reviews for the government. Tom knows what works and what doesn’t and he has extensive experience in developing pathways for people to enter the industry in a managed fashion. Tom has acted as a trainee mentor and advocate. He is experienced in training trainers and managing the delivery of national training programs that produce trained staff that are capable and perform to a consistent standard.

Mark Fox | DirectorMark is Farming in Cumbria and runs a shearing contracting business from there. He has been involved in the wool industry for 30 years and shorn in countries around the world including NZ, Falkland Islands, Australia, Norway and Italy. Mark and his wife Gillian were previous owners of the very successful online gear sales company “ Highway Shearing UK” for many years, and Gillian owns and runs “The Crosby Cake Cupboard “ near the farm. Mark was a BWMB Shearing instructor for many years , he is a BISCA shearing judge and one of the World Records Committee shearing judges.

Rhys Jones l Director Rhys lives and Farms at Maes Truan near Corwen with wife, Ema and children. . He started shearing in 1998 at age 17. Since then he has shorn all over the UK and Ireland as well as doing 25 seasons in Norway and 15 in NZ. In 2003 Rhys, along with Nicky Beynon, successfully took the British 9-hour ewe record. He has also represented Wales in many competitions across the World including NZ, France and Ireland.
